No, single player.

In my first playthrough I only got two or three Marines to the exit. The pistol guys are useless.

I hate this game so much. Each level gets so much drastically unfair that its impossible to beat. Highest I've gotten through the Reactor is all but 1 (Vasquez died at the exit). Next level I got all of my men past the Seal, but about 3 died in the Vents and I was left with only 5 surviving by Level 3. Since theres no save, its incredibly frustrating to get all the way to Rescue Newt and die horribly because each room is cram packed with aliens. <_<



Beat it.

The Reactor: Only One Died

Operations: Frost died outside of the Seal, 6 died in the Air Vents

Rescue Newt: Ripley gets incapacitated, forced to find Newt through guessing. Once Newt is found, only Hicks and Vasquez are left alive. Hicks grabs Newt, and Vasquez grabs Frost who was also found. Vasquez gets swarmed, and only Hicks escapes with Newt.

This game took forever to beat. Considering how many I had survive from The Reactor, it felt like a waste each time I got in the Air Vents only to have everyone slaughtered one by one.
