This post is to honor those who fought and died years ago on this day (Dec. 7, 1941) in the attack on Pearl Harbor. May they be remembered.

<_< It was a rather brilliant plan by the Japanese, but they were complete douchebags for not attacking again and finishing the fight. They only did half the damage, and had one pissed off America slashing at their heels. Still, it did show their 'honor' code is complete oxshit. They stabbed them in their sleep so to speak.

The Japanese had intended to declare war before the attack began. Unfortunately in their embassy at Washington they were late in decoding the message from Tokyo, and ended up delivering it after Pearl Harbor was bombed.

I think there was some drama about us not letting them have oil in the pacific or something.
also, they invaded alaska ftl. but the whole thing worked out great after the dying stopped, we heavily influenced an up and coming world power.

They invaded like, three tiny islands at the "tip" of Alaska.
Also, yeah, mostly the reason they went to war with us was because we were threatening, or already did (not sure off the top of my head), cut off oil supplies to them. At the time the USA supplied like, 75% of the world's oil. Saudi Arabia, eat your heart out
