Title: EL's piano improvisations.
Post by: enragedlobster on January 18, 2008, 12:41:14 pm
I figured, considering I sit down at my piano and improvise anyway, why not record them and post them here?

Here (http://media.putfile.com/Piano-Improvisation-1) is the first one. I recorded it about 15 minutes ago.

Warning: these will be long, meandering, and have no real direction. I'm just doing this for shits and giggles, I don't expect to be lauded for my immense talent, since I don't have any.

Meh, have fun.

(Also, make a general Creative Endeavors board plz)

Dear Mr. Extremely Angry Homaridae, do you find that the sound waves produced from the musical instrument played by means of a keyboard that produces sound by striking steel strings with felt hammers can be, for the most part, a ot more engaging than the sound waves produced from the modern variant?

Regardless, I applaud you on your effort to produce exquisite sound waves. Good show.

Love,
Elijah S. Konderwink

Yes, I do prefer pianos to keyboards. They're also a lot easier to play and far more dynamic.

Elijah needs his nuts kicked. Badly.

Anyway, EL is correct. Pianos beat the shit out of keyboards. And not bad EL, not bad at all. I'd love to learn piano but.. yeah. I suck at guitar as it is. It sounds to me the piano is a BIT out of tune, but other then that not bad. Try playing something less fierce, less chord smashing. Something peaceful, quiet. Y'know, something not designed to give me a headache. <_<

Okay, next time, I'll do something in a major key.

EDIT: It's a damn shame I didn't just have my computer with me, since I just played the best major piece I've ever done.
