DON'T let your wife rearrange your office, especially if you have a DSL connection in there. It's a little tough on a phone cord when you drop a desk on it. Tends to make the phone cord, the intertubz, and your entire wireless network go bye-bye.
/two hours of my life wasted troubleshooting a network makes me an unhappy person.
//though, I did manage to scam a new DSL modem out of Embarq. The funny part is that the old one causes RF interference with my home phones, a really high pitched whistle that causes bleeding of the ears. So I guess it's not all bad.
