Just deleted and remade a nation. Is Cattle and Pigs good resources or should I reroll in 3 days?

That depends if you like trogdors or not...
They tend to burninate cattle+pigs (and townsfolk).

Anyway, check the RIA Trade Belt and see if you fit into any trade set that you like. If you do, then keep your resources. If not, re-roll.

Cattle and pigs are fine. They go along with the 3 Bonus Trade Set, which is arguebly the best trade set in the game. So just find wheat, sugar, aluminum, iron, marble, lumber, spices, gems, water, and fish. Try to get them all the same color. This is the best trade set you can get. You obviously need a harbor to get all of those. So until then, cut out spices and gems. Get the other ones.

The only better resource is spice so you can control the galaxy, but without that's ok too.
