my computer can't seem to get any more than 16colors in the resolution of 640x480.

is there anyway i can fix this or am i doomed forever?

i'm not even sure if that's my problem.





okay;

SOOO i wanna play d2 on my computer but it seems to suck REALLY badly.
it won't pass the video tests, and when i went to do some crap it told me the stuff above.


i don't know what to do, and all i really want is to not have to play this god damn game on my sister's computer.

can someone help me o_O?

What kind of video card do you have? If it's integrated video, I guess than the next question would be, how old is the computer?

I remember back in the days when I used to have a windows 95, my maximum resolution was 640x480 and my colors were 16 bit I believe.

If it's an actual video card like GeForce or Nividia, how old would your video card be or did you even install the video card if it was necessary (with a cd or floppy).

Also, two other things. Check online for video card updates. That could fix your problem. If not, perhaps try and look to see if you have a 2nd video slot in the back of your computer. There probably won't be one, but you never know.

16 bit != 16 colours
