I just tried the standard strength test for crew (rowing) and couldn't even complete it around 10 seconds over my old time. Almost got sick, and I didn't even finish. >_< I'm whipping myself into shape. Connor, if you see this, what's your 2K right now? I just tried it at around 1:57-1:58 split and, as I said, couldn't even finish.

I'm getting out of shape to. I could barly jog down my road yesterday. I used to be able to do it easily but yesterday I almost felt sick.

Before when I was just about to go into the military, and I had special forces glaring in my eyes I was running about 5 miles every night, but now with my job I can't. I work nonstop lifting, throwing, and kicking the shit out of heavy boxes for hours. My upper body is probably exceptional at this point, and my legs suck. I'm starting to do squats, and even though after them I can barely walk I wake up to no soreness. I hope to be in shape for Muay Thai/getting laid instantly by the summer. Oh, yeah, and I do 500 sit ups almost everyday.

hm a couple months ago i decided to do pushups every time i go to the bathroom. to build it in as a routine like washing your hands is also a routine. its not much, but its working pretty well by my low standards.

About military standard is pretty good to go by.
30 pushups
40 situps, pushups
1 mile run under 10 mins.
Besides being in shape you can really see your metabolism working pretty great.
I just did 500 situps tonight, and more squats. My body was killing me from work last night, but all my soreness is gone. Even before I started work I was dangerous, but now I'm just a WMD.

i keep in shape by doingh a sport every season: Cross Country(fall), then Basketball (winter), then Track( spring), then Softball (spring/summer), and Cross Country in the summer too. I wish i could play football... *sigh* atleast i'm better than the girls in my gym class
oh yeah, i ran 4 miles today, and i wasn't tired! yay!! i'm happy

Yeah, you sound like you could be a good reciever or something. How big are you?
And that's good, we had to run damn 5 miles in pads today at practice. >_< About killed me with the 95 degree weather.

well, the reason isn't that i'm a girl, it's just that it's sort of too late to join. in all honesty i've always wanted to play football or do wrestling just because it seemed like a challenge,(my twin did too) but my mom was never too thrilled when i asked her if i could join a football league or if my twin could try out for wrestling, she didn't want me or my twin getting "hurt".
oh and bburger, i wish i was in your gym class, i hate being the only girl in my class who actually tries (in softball the girls stand in a circle in left field. i can't be pitcher and EVERY other stinkin' position too!!)

A bunch of people in my class were the same way. There would be like 6 people who would actually do something and then a big group of people just talking and doing nothing.

Well listen. Seeing im in shape I'm guna crack open another tonic, and eat chips while watch home movies on demand. Ever since I started working hard I noticed that I went from about half a can of tonic per meal to about 3.

10 miles? I run that much in a week (but I've also got the bad habit of going out and drinking beer once and sometimes twice a week, so it's totally negated).

Other than that I am lazy at home but i also do football, basketball, baseball. Then during the summer i race bikes

I am doing the Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour with my dad. 15miles in 2 days. thats a fun one. I also, entered a couple races but i missed them because i got sick for one and i messed up my knee for the other.

30 & 15 mile runs encounter the most injuries out of all sports.
