I had to call Dell Tech Support today. Yesterday was a really bad day for me, and today wasn't going much better, so I expected to be on hold forever and have some guy speak some language to me I never heard of. Well, thank god that didn't happen. I was already on my last nerve and wanted to throw my computer out the window.

Well, I did have to wait 10 minutes (twice - because the power went out) and about 4 hours were spent on the phone in total, but at least the two guys I talked to generally spoke good english (although they did have a latino accent of some sort).

And now my computer is fixed. YAY.

And all a week before I leave for two week vacation in Florida.

dell people are stupid, I told them what was wrong with my computer (i had already run a diagonsis on it) and what part i needed for it to be fixed. two hours later they agreed with me

Dell Gold Tech Support for Businesses is great, I've never had a problem with them. I call em up, tell them whats wrong and they send me out a Dell repair guy, but again, That's Gold tech support. I've never dealt with normal support.

With 5 computers I've probably wasted 24 hours of my life with tech support. They'll take up an hour and a half just to make sure that it's your laptop that's dead, and not the battery. Once a guy just took 5 mins, and he sounded like pretty mature american.

I couldn't figure out what my problem was (something with graphics I believe). I tried to live with it for two days and couldn't take it anymore. I call tech support, and while it took 2 hours before I got where I wanted to be (which was before I got the drivers I needed along with installation). That part was easy. Just took forever to get there...
