				I got that once in TE too. Your people are so unhappy they try to hypnotize you to make you stop screwing around and make the country less of a crappy place to live.

				I've had -8 before....but i got out of it as fast as i could

				back when i first started my nation, I once got it down to -13 for like a week. i dont remember what i did though.

 Happiness influences your income directly. One point of Happiness roughly equals $2.00 in gross income or so, there's some math in there but it's usually negligible.  Point being, more Happiness means more income.
