Pretty awesome movie.

It's hard to see "Vic Mackey" as anything other then someone who busts heads, but he did a decent job.  Also, there was this french dude from transformers who basically was someones bitch, oh, and HAL made an appearance...  Not to mention Billy Bob Thorton who got seriously old...

Most gunshot wounds from secret service weapons aren't fatal unless they hit you in the head or heart.  The back is the BEST place to be shot, because you have a might higher survival rate if it doesn't hit the spine.  Plus, he was probably wearing the guards bullet-proof vest...

Though, yes, he should have died.  However, I probably would have just run in and yelled "POTUS 111"  like Billy Bob Thorton told him to do.
