So, midway through coraline, she drops to her knees and says "I can't believe I lost the game".

I lost the game.

I could not resume winning until the end of the movie, hours later...

my girlfriend wants to see that movie, but her bank account is -100, and my resources are stretched to their limits.

You can do what I did.

I kept ym 3d glasses from a long time ago and we just bought tickets to a show starting 10 minutes before coraline and just moved theatres.  noone even asked when we left and came back because we had the glasses.
