How is University of St. Andrews as a school?

Prestigious. Go to Edinburgh University instead.

Apparently, over the last several years, 20 people at my school have applied there, 16 were accepted, and 6 went there.  Keep in mind I'm from Chicago, IL, USA.  >_>  My GPA is around .8 higher than the average of the people from my school accepted.

I got into Edinburgh and would rather go there than St. Andrews. I'm a UK citizen living in the US...

Have you visited at all?

Nah, but it's just cool to think about.  Given that I haven't visited and it's in another country, there are pretty damn good odds I won't go to either St. Andrews or Edinburgh.  Just curious, more.
