Title: Your Roster (Pokemon of Course)
Post by: Somedude on November 25, 2010, 10:58:08 pm
Post your Pokemon roster. All generations applicable, but keep in mind that the new ones will always be inferior to the 151.

1. Blastoise (Always pick Squirtle)
2. Snorlax (For obvious reasons)
3. Vileplume (You can teach it Cut!)
4. Gyarados (Super fucking weak against Electric, but badass against everything else)
5. Haunter (It would be a Gengar, but Link cables are too much drama)
6. The other Snorlax (This one knows Hyperbeam)

1. Typhlosion/Charizard (Cause fire starte all the way)
2. Pidgeot (Will always use the first flying poke i come across in the game in my team)
3. Magneton (Bro)
4. Gyarados (Dragon slayer, ie: Ice Fang)
5. Alakazam (Cause Kadabra just wont cut it and can basically sweep Red on its own)
6. Dragonite (Cause pro)

It's been a whlie, but I think this was it:

Blastoise
Zapados
Gyrados
Tyranitar
I don't need 2 more because I can usually wipe out any set this way. If I do need more you could have:

Either Fire or Psychic (to take out leaf)
Another Gyrados. Maybe an Onix.

My awesomesauce team(that I never actually had):
-Charizard
-Charizard
-Charizard
-Charizard
-Charizard
-Charizard
-Charizard

Why? Because Charizard was a fuckin' BA, and Charizardx7=explosion of awesomeness. And yes, I know the limit is supposed to be 6, but once you've got 6 Charizards going crazy, no one is going to stop you from adding a 7th(except maybe a guy with 7 Blastoises, but then what about 7 Venusaurs against that guy, which brings us back to the awesomeness of Charchar so let's ignore that argument).

6 Charizards are weak.
7 Charizards are just adding to the weakness.

If you're going against Misty with 6 Charmanders, you're utterly fucked.
You could super level boost one, but really, you're making things harder than they need to be.

But I'm not going against her with 6 Charmanders. I'm using the 7 Charizards I've got with me. Plus with the pure awesome of me owning 7 Charizards, Misty would never want to fight me cause she'd be too busy riding my cock.

On SoulSilver I've got uhh

Poliwrath
Golem
Electivire
Dragonite
Vileplume
Charizard

It's pretty evened out, nothing fantabulous, and they still need their moves tweaked a bit. ie: Vileplume knows GR-Solarbeam, PetalDance, Sleep Powder + NR- Moonlight, Electivire knows EL- Thunder, Thunderbolt + NR- RockClimb, Flash...

My most recent team from FireRed was:
Charizard
Exeggutor (which is a boss with Sunny Day and Solarbeam if you'd like to know)
Dugtrio
Primeape
Magneton
Kabutops

From SoulSilver:
Typhlosion
Tryanitar
Dragonite
Crobat
Politoed
Gengar

I've played these games a lot so I get tired of using the same over and over which is why Pokemon like Primeape and Politoed make it in. To spice it up.
