Title: The new head of EA's Origin division...

So, the just made this new guy head of the EADM (recently chagned to Origin).  He sort of worries me...

EA couldnt ever make a great game anyhow, the best they could hope for is 'better then most'. i persoanly refer to it as the "EA effect" the game will not suck. but it also will not shine like it should. they are to worried about making money and not enough about the hardcore gamer. i hope this new person fixes this shit.

scifi mostly sucks, although they occasionally have a good series (alphas isn't bad) or play a good movie that someone else made. most of the stuff they make themselves, like syfy originals, is the worst stuff on TV ever. in all of TV history.

as for stargate, I liked the first movie, and that's it.

They've done a few good series.  Destination Truth, Eureka, Warhouse 13, Stargate, and Atlantis were good.  But they grind some shows into the dusk.

yes, it's syfy now, I think they are trying to go for a more modern science-fictiony feel.  The logo looks as spiff and shiney.

Anyway, have u guys seen burn notice or royal pains on USA?  Freaking awesome shows.

More like Burn Notice and White Collar. And he's mine too. I actually just got around to seeing the Fall of Sam Axe a couple days ago.

For some reason, I think that they people who write for Sam in Burn Notice just know Bruce Campbell's acting style (machoy and over-acted) and are like "Fuck it, we'll just write the part AROUND him".  And they do and awesome job.

I haven't really gotten into White Collar, but Suits is looking pretty good.
