What are these llamas and why/how did I get 15 of them?

I've been busy with school for the past however long it has been since I've really done much of anything with the alliance, so all of these nifty advancements with the boards and whatnot have come as a pleasant surprise... but llamas? Explain.

I guess I can't argue with your point about everyone liking llamas. I guess I was secretly wondering how I could get even more. O_O

We have like 4 types of llamas that count towards your total, i know that one of them is obtained every time someone potd's you, and another type is obtained upon completing RI5 missions, of the others, i know not. ;)
