Title: Looking for a voice-over artist
Post by: Pterrydactyl on January 12, 2012, 08:45:57 pm
If anyone is interested, it's for a school project.

The ability to speak Russian preferred.

It's a voice-over for russian propaganda.

Basically, in my ethics class, we are playing a game called diplomacy where we are competing for extra-credit points.

Our instructor, wants to see how long we will stick to our ethics, because each "point" we capture (some countries have these points, some dont), is worth 5 EC points.  However, he started us with different amounts of the points.  For example, austria started with 5, while me as russia, started with 3.  Anyway, the first day alliances were made, and broken almost immediatly.  So far, me and my friend are remaining allied against everyone, but not sure how long that will last.

Anyway, one of the tasks, is to "morally justify" our actions, and since I'm invading poland, I'm going to to throw a propaganda film together quickly about how I'm doing it to protect poland from prussia (also invading poland).

Anyway, abe, if you think you can do a decent russian accent (and speak russian), I'll be happy to use you.

You might not believe this but most middle-high class indian people can put up a myriad of accents, well.

Thanks, I'll check there.  I had to postpone this a bit, since my first propaganda was due today, so I just made up some bullshit about how Prussia attacked Poland for no reason, So I annexed Poland-Lithuania and threatened anyone who attacked them with death and destruction.  Currently, my plan is to take poland-Lithuania (A NPC), then knock Prussia out of the game, then maybe hit the ottomans.

Diplomacy is awesome.  The trick is to play with the right of passage through someone else's seas, then land on their shores and fuck them in the ass.  Screw morals.  Naturally this works best at the end of the game.

You might not believe this but most middle-high class indian people can put up a myriad of accents, well.

It's true.  They are also very courteous, and seem to mostly work for AT&T.

:smug:

So, my last move was to use all my diplomacy points to fuck over the guy who was growing the most.  You could probably see my trollface FROM THE MOON.

Details - what was the move, did you make gains, and more importantly did he whine?

My voice is deep enough that it has been likened to James Earl Jones'.

The admin just resolved the moves today and he was PISSED.

I was too far away to make gains, but I ensured he didn't make any.

However, my war with Poland is going good, I gained Courland.

He was so pissed though.  After class he was talking about how he was going to end me and my allies and I just trollfaced my way into the elevator, but then there wasn't enough room for him, so my trollface grew EVEN BIGGER as i pressed the Close door button.

lol.  Next move is to tell him you were wrong to do what you did, and give him Courland back.  As he reaches over to take it, stab him in the back again.
