Or not too far enough?

First Pluto gets demoted, now Vesta gets a promotion. How far with Sol's re-org go? Will Ceres get promoted next? This smells of affirmative action.

Pluto getting demoted was sad. It will always be a planet in my eyes.
-
Pluto not being classified as a planet felt like the hole left in my heart when Leo left.
-
I feel the same way as both of you, but the difference between Pluto and Leo is that this was done to Pluto, and Leo did to us...
But when you think about it, Pluto really did have it coming, what with its freestyle orbit and all. Just would not align with the rest of the Sol leadership, and in the end, a demotion is better than getting downsized altogether. The fact that promotions like Vista's are possible make me wonder if Pluto can't work its way back up...

People still can't get over Pluto? It shouldn't have been called a planet in the first place.

the only reason you can talk like this is because pluto is so far away. none of you really know what pluto has been through.
