The official main trailer was released two weeks ago:

So awseome. Can't wait for it to be out.

Also its going to have a running time of 2 hours, 36 minutes. >_>

I get more disappointed each time I hear of this stupidity.  Shortest book?  3 movies.  FUCK YOU PETER JACKSON.

I just dislike the extraneous orc characters they add in

'tolkien's storytelling just needed something extra, like a horribly voiced/acted/make-upped character with no real back-story or contribution to the story'

I haven't even read the book and I could tell he was the 100 mill movie equivalent of a failed attempt at a people pleasing filler...
