i literally don't get this, no images are showing up.

I right clicked, copied image location, opened that link in a new tab (where the image showed up), reloaded this page, and the image showed up in OP. How/why, I have no idea.

Could be a weak attempt at blocking cross domain image loading

I forget what the term actually is.
