Right they are, and alchohol abuse is right up there with some of the other stuff.

i'd have to disagree. the only reason i prefer weed is because (for me anyways) its cheaper to get messed up than alcohol. i much more enjoy being drunk

and because many countries and cultures expose kids to it at an earlier age they are better able to handle it when they are older. Of course a problem develops when do you know if kids are mentally able to handle it?
