Post by: enragedlobster on May 05, 2007, 08:53:35 pm
Hey look, a link. (http://enragedlobster.dvdaf.com/owned)

This is my full collection, not a 40-DVD chunk like usual. Have fun.

That was a good-sized chunk. This is the full-blown thing.

You have the same exact tastes in movies as I do. Awesome collection. Lacks Usual suspects, Inside man, and Se7en though.

I gave it a 10 despite the Godfather not being there.

Feel lucky

My parents own the Godfather collection.

And C-zom, it's ironic that you should say Se7en, because I nearly bought that today.

But it's either pay $20 or buy the crap version. And whenever I get $20, I spend it on multiple movies.

I like it. A rundown (I'll skip ones that I haven't seen or that have been mentioned):

12 monkeys, cool stuff.
The Animatrix, GREATNESS.
I love your love of the Bat.
A Beautiful Mind, a beautiful choice.
Blade Runner, don't think I've seen, or maybe just a long time ago, but I think it was very good.
Casino Royale, liked it a lot.
I'm sorry, but only Pitch Black should be on there. CoR was kind of lame.
Constantine, big EH.
DD, heheh, okay.
Dark City, just brilliant.
Die Hard collection, I liked the first one, can't tell you about the rest.
Equilibrium, awesome movie, loved Bale's performance.
Fight Club, seen parts of it, should watch whole thing.
Gladiator, an amazing film.
Goldeneye, my favorite Bond film, and the Bond I grew up with. I watch it a lot.
Goldfinger, "OMFG, THE GOLD PAINT WILL SUFFOCATE HER!!" Good movie.
Hellboy, the only thing was it seemed kind of lacking somewhere, but his hellboy was very fun.
Hero, I adore this movie, a grand piece.
House of Flying Daggers, another one of "those" movies, still pretty great.
Jurrassic Park, fantastic stuff.
Kung Fu Hustle, I think it's sweet, but the movie just doesn't warrant the "ensuing hilarity" aspect of the title. Good fight movie though.
Life Aquatic, very bizarre, but very good.
The Little Shop, I saw it a long time ago, I don't think I liked it then, I should watch it again.
The Matrix movies, the first one is my favorite, but I enjoyed the other two immensely, regardless of their apparent failure.
M:I, haven't seen in a long time, I think it was good.
Monty Python, absolutely genius, great stuff. I have the complete show, in fact, but the movie is too good.
Mummy and Mummy Returns, both great installments, I liked 'em.
New Police Story, I'm surprised this is on your list. I really like Jackie, and I actually liked this movie. The only thing was...a bunch of random wealthy teens set up video game traps for a team of policemen? It sounds like pure cheese when you say it.
Predator, classic.
Shawshank, truly great film.
Silent Hill, for some reason I loved it. Just something about the way they made it...
Sin City, stylistic and fabulous.
Snakes on a Plane, nothing beats the sensation you have when you finish this movie.
Spaceballs, fantastical!
The Spider-Men, best superhero movies.
All the Star Wars movies, I am a huge fan, and I know a little too much about the universe.
Superman Returns, a real let-down.
T2, I enjoyed it.
Spinal Tap, heheh, this one goes to 11.
Truman Show, pretty cool idea, and well done.
V for Vendetta, brilliant movie.
X-men and X2, both fun anf funner(wtf?), I like dees movies.
