Why won't you torrent!

How the hell do I open a listen port, and/or where do I find out which listen ports I have so I can switch them?

Firewall is down.

Here is a temporary relief. I'm too tired to really explain everythign else.

Download Bitcomet.

Go to Options.
        :Preferences

Change Max Global Upload to 84kb/s

Change Listen Port too: 49200 (This is becoming a new standard because Private Channels are much faster than Public)

Now look to your left menu bar on the same screen

Look under

Advanced
Connections

and change Maximum Connections & Global Connections to 150

Click Okay.

This should help you receive download speeds from 500kb/s to 1gb/s (depending on your normal connection/and seeders/peers).. But to optimize your torrents to 2gb/s its a lot of work that I'm not in the mood to start typing about..
