I don't really care about what I left off - this is obviously not all the music I listen to, but the music I've listened to the most.
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?
Voivod - Nothingface
Anacrusis - Manic Impressions
Municipal Waste - Hazardous Mutation
Celtic Frost - Into the Pandemonium
Napalm Death - Scum
Pig Destroyer - Prowler in the Yard
Judas Priest - Painkiller
Judas Priest - Sad Wings of Destiny
Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime
Cathedral - The Ethereal Mirror
Black Sabbath - Master of Reality
Cheap Trick - Cheap Trick
Jimi Hendrix - Band of Gypsys
AC/DC - Highway to Hell
The Melvins - Houdini
R.E.M. - Document
R.E.M. - Lifes Rich Pageant
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables
Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
The Pogues - Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash
Flipper - Generic
Public Image Ltd. - Second Edition/Metal Box
Gang of Four - Entertainment!
Faith No More - Angel Dust
Blur - Parklife
U2 - War
The Pixies - Doolittle

Having R.E.M.=win. Yay for the band that got me into music.

Really, Oasis? They do brittonic well, I suppose, but I've never considered that album anything out of the ordinary. Still a quite good list though, excluding the half of the list which is metal I've never heard.
-
Oasis do simple and catchy really well, and sometimes that's all I want, without all sorts of arty and "innovative" stuff.
-
you dont have the clash on that list? they fit in really well to that list, and they were probably the most influential band since the beatles.
-
I would have the Clash on there, since I do love them, but I've never actually heard any of their albums in full; I bought The Essential Clash a year or two back and have just listened to that and miscellaneous downloaded songs.
