it seems to me that people are itching for a war. not me personally but others. quite a few potential RIcruits have turned me down becuz they have to recieve permission to go to war. to use an old phrase 'its quite too quite' its almost like people are becoming bored w/ peace. i just gotta bad feeling something big is gonna go down. i hope i'm wrong. perhaps its just rogues being rogues. opinions?
-
not sure at this point, our goverment probley knows a bit more than we do but we just had a huge war also
-
Rogues will never be able to rise as a single force large enough because they often have to deal with other rogues.
There are multiple levels of nations. The unaligned/small alliances of rogues we don't worry about unless they attack us, and we never will have to worry about them because their preference in war prevents them from growing large.
When the leaders of sanctioned alliances are itching for war, then you need to worry.

yea i got that but i was just thinking if the those lower ones are itching for war how do we know when the big guys get that itch its not like they're just gonna come out and say it
but it was just an observation i'm not trying to argue a point i just wanted to see wat others thought

There's always a big war on the horizon. Without conflict nobody would bother playing CN.
-
Believe me, everyone is itchin for war all the time. If we didn't have war, what would this game be? A flashier NationStates, that's what.
-
Right. War makes it fun and interesting.
-
Unless you're on the losing side and have no way out. >_>
-
True. Then it sucks. Lesson: Surrender early, surrender often. >_>
edit: Sarcasm alert. I'd be zi'd for the RIA, and I'm sure every poor bastard here would too!
MY LIFE FOR THE RIA!!!!!!!!!!
-
Well, I'd be near-mortally wounded for the RIA, but my life? No, that's a bit much. Yes, I think a severe wounding would be my limit. Now, for bacon...I'd give my life and then some...

I've never been in an Inter-Alliance War yet I've been around for 1 Year and I'm still playing.
-
You missed out..
-
I don't believe so. I've witnessed plenty of wars an observer, I can say its quite fun to watch on the sidelines. Also I've been able to watch from higher up as well as down below, I can keep myself quite entertained. I assure you.
-
i thought the game was only a year and a half old...
-
Alright, did someone edit my post to say 3 years?

Poor soul. Wars are what kept me in the game.
