The Nobel Peace prize is sort of a misnomer, it doesn't necessarily have to go to peace activists. There are also prizes for scientific pioneers and such. As amazing as it is, some people still don't believe in global warming. For a stone-faced politician to become such an engaging activist for a cause that affects literally every single living thing on the planet is deserving of the prize, IMO.

Hey guys, I'd assume most of you are left-leaning. I'm a big politics nerd, so I'm sort of bummed no one voted for either of my candidates (Gravel and Paul, respectively) I'd like you to look into both of their positions. They have actual opinions, unlike any of the Democrat or Republican frontrunners.

DEP has a new album out Nov 13, but I'm kind of scared because their drummer quit to play for Coheed and Cambria. Ew. Dude was insane, I don't know how they're going to find someone to replace him.

I could never beat Freebird on expert. About halfway through the solo there was one part that always got me. I probably could nail it if I tried, but I don't have the patience to sit through the boring 5 minute verse/chorus part two dozen times until I get the solo right.

I'm pretty good at bass guitar. I can't pull off any RHCP or Primus type songs, but I can play slap style and do decent improvisation.

I've had an acoustic guitar for about 4 years and haven't progressed very far beyond "Brain Stew" and "All the Small Things", lulz.
