Wow. Not Sure. Expert. Confused. Where to start. Guru.
My company is running a slice of Yammer, and very few people use it. So, I have taken it upon myself to drive usage worldwide (I kid you not, I am that powerful, so powerful, I am almost gay).
The problem is that everything I learned on the use of social media pretty much come from this board. So, as you can imagine, most of my attempts are met with polite clapping, followed by a whispered, "My what a well trained retard."
Here are some of the tricks I can't use:
- Counting games
- 3 word stories
- Miley Cyrus' tits
- Next letter games
- Next word games
- ANY comments about gays, sex, drugs, or alcohol
- pictures of cats
- ...etc you get the idea
So, what can I do within my corporate confines?
- I put together a group to explode acronyms (I know this is lame, but we really are an acronym minefield)
- A few discussion groups on subjects that seem to all use the same words in different orders, like:
- Supply
- Sales
- Value
- Chain
- Marketing
- Learning
- Capability
- Consumer
Despite the genius of my discussions in the different groups, the acronym one is ahead by a long shot (ie multiples more followers than the other groups combined).
Any thoughts, suggestions, cracks from the RIA community on how to proceed?
