This is usually our fights.
I lose. To Raging Demon. Ugh. To Raging Demon.
The next video I have to show y'all, is different though. I beat him this time.
First of all, I'm not calling myself better than him. He is clearly the smarter Street Fighter player. I get by with luck, great reaction timing, reading the opponent, and throwing sand in the opponent's face and that is how it's always been.
All of those things together make a hard fight, but it doesn't make someone "good" at Street Fighter.
This is the first time I have had a fight with this guy, that to my satisfaction, I can call a victory over him.
When we first fought, he was getting tired of the game. He actually told me I've dragged him right back into it, so, you are seeing two Street Fighter opponents at their possible best in this fight.
He is one of my two excellent Street Fighter teachers that have turned me from a dirty peasant MvC player into a master race Street Fighter player. And, of the things he taught me, one of the them was the FADC cancel and this fight was the very first time I executed an FADC cancel in a fight.
Not only did I FADC cancel but I FADC canceled into Ken's Ultra Combo, something that is a bit difficult to do.
FADC stands for Focus Attack Dash Cancel. It's where I cancel one move by going into a Focus Attack (the attack that looks like a charging kick)
You can see this happening at 5:40. This is a bar that I have reached in my Street Fighter IV training.
Anyway, this video is a special best out of 7 round fight, and I can say this looks like some damn good Street Fighting so you can afford to be a little impressed this time.
