Or you could try Crunka's strategy, I dunno. You know your parents better than anybody else on any message board you'd go to. Personally, I'm just glad religion has never been an issue in my household - I've never been raised to be religious, and only set foot in a church for religious reasons once, before I was in preschool and when my parents took me to a Catholic Sunday service for some reason (I'm pretty sure both of them were Catholic). So really my only belief concerning religion is to be tolerant of others.

<_< Well, at least a Baptist one. Their opinions are walls that cannot be reasoned with. Everything must ALWAYS revolve around God, and religion. They are socially akaward, their music tastes suck, all they do is babble opinions like facts and rub their thinly veiled 'truths' in other peoples faces. Its real life trolling, but they say its for 'salvation'. I'd much rather live life minding my own ****ing business then growing balls big enough to smack my opinion around like its the word of God. Oh, wait. Thats right.

I'm beginning to break. Lesson after lesson it just gets worse. The insulting and destruction of all other beliefs, the brainwashing sermons, the totaltarian attitude. GAHH. I walked in with a Megadeth shirt and got reemed for it cause it was "Ungodly".

Personally I would just tell my parents the truth. If you don't believe what their saying you shouldn't have to go back and listen. You're old enough to choose how you want to live your life and what you want to believe.

Thanks Crunka, and its glorious to be unbrainwashed again. There's about six pages of debates. Mostly me, RedMage and two other guys putting up an extremely solid arguement for our beliefs. I believe action is more useful then faith, and that religious practices are useless. You an either pray for the soda to come out of the fridge, or go get it.

I believe in God, but thats as far as that one goes. Yeah, I'll probably say something like joker said.

I'm still catholic, but... seeing the totalarianism that the pope  has put on the religion, and continuing beliefs by me that all christianity is the same, I've thought of becoming either a non-denominational christian, or a Deist.
