People here have an idiotic sense of the Orders. They aren't evil, and they don't mean us any harm. They shouldn't even bother us. Getting relations with them is pointless, but people here have an immature feel of what they are capable of and what their motives are.

As sad as it was, GOONS was on the other side of the fence in the war. The UJP lost. GOONS stood. They had to be destroyed. Do you expect the Orders were gonnna be all, "We love our enemies. We're so nice. In our spare time from building charity centers and curing cancer, we'll spare our sworn enemies from annihilation."

Same goes for FAN. They opposed them, and they lost. See: Every war loser ever, ever.

Respect their power, don't hate it. You don't see NPO treating us like their gimps, do you? Do you see them intruding on SF or anything? No. They mind their business. When fucked with, they fuck people over. Its how it works. Brilliant, brilliant minds work in the Orders. Don't think they're just evil sadistic men and women.

Thanks, didn't realize he was talking bout them. An I also don't think that EVERY NPO member is evil. Some are, and that's why people are prejudiced (or however it's called).

Wrong. No matter where you live in America, you are sent a form for the military draft the moment you turn 18 if you are male. They can and will arrest you for not having it filled out. While the draft itself was disbanded in the 70s/80s, the form is still used for numerous other legal applications, eg. jury duty.

lol, NPO is not evil nor is Continuum (there may be some member alliances who are assholes, but in every group, there's always at least one asshole).  And duuh, when you talk to people who hate NPO, all you're gonna get is bad things about the NPO.

They're a great alliance.  I used to dislike them a lot because I knew them from NS (and they were real annoying)... but the NPO in this game is awesome as awesome gets.  Out of all the current sanctioned alliances and those former big ones like GOONS, FAN, Legion, GATO, NADC and NAAC, NPO is probably the most reasonable and respectful one.

Wait  a minute, they still have conscription in the US?    
I thought they got rid of that stuff after the cold war, in Australia we haven't had it for years (I think it ended after Vietnam).


And with the NPO, I don't really have anything againced them, but I think they are a bit to powerful at the moment.
