Actually battlestar galactica definitely is of better taste than SG-1, considering their physics is way better. And their special effects. But as far as entertainment, I enjoy watching SG-1 more. Atlantis is just because I need a stargate fix.

BSG does suffer, slightly, from the WFW or Who's Fucking Who, disease.

BUT

It more than makes up for it in general kick-assedness. Any show that can turn the clown of a villain from the original BSG, Baltar and turn him into a Che Guevara type that has threesomes with hot chicks (robot or not,) is a damn good show.

Battlestar Galactica sets a unique mood among science fiction shows. In BSG, outer space is exotic and foreign above all else. Where the spirit of adventure pervades the atmosphere of all others, in BSG, outer space itself is as main a character as anyone else.

That said, Stargate SG-1 is corny goodness. =D

I agree that Atlantis isn't as good as SG-1 (but it is getting better meow that SG-1's writters moved over to that show). I think the best Sg-1 shows were when O'neil was still on the show...when he left = EPIK FAIL.

meow...BSG is a decent show. But it is too serious (compared to the first version)...and how could they make Starbucks a GIRL...that is the main thing that STILL bothers me. But other than that, it is a very well done show.
