The idea of us flying another alliance's flag doesn't seem like a very nice gesture. A custom flag is to be worn proudly, by the members of that alliance. If we fly it, it would only detract from the honor they feel.

I wouldn't want to see even our allies wearing the RIA banner on their nations if we get sanctioned. It's the face of an alliance. You don't wear your friend's face.

So in RL for example, whe nthe Star-SPangled Banner was played in the UK to honor the Americans who died in the 9/11 attacks, were they trying to be the US?  Its just a suggestion you know, you don't have to comply to it.

I fly the NADC flag, It looks very detailed and I think it suits my nation the best.
