Did we ever make it up to 10000? What's the objective here? Without an objective, we have nothing to look forward to except a long arduous climb to nothing. If we knew where we were going, we could look forward to a sense of accomplishment, comraderie, and teamwork. Yea, pride in a job well done.
It's not like we are breaking new ground here, and inventing the numbers themselves, so in the absense of a creative process, we would do well to set the goal, and perhaps frame it within a certain time frame. Hell, if all we had was a timeframe - ie let's see how high we can count until X date - we would be a lot better off than the current scope of the project.
This is wanderlust, unbridled, and rampant on the boards. It is irresponsible too, since apprently no qualifications are needed to join in the fray. Yes, qualifications, like being able to count. Also, this kind of thread is liable to attract trolls, and I predict will turn into a discussion about Leo's penis, with the occasional sage commentary from Jenne or Brian.
