Actually, I was giving more reasons as to why you might not be the best gov member, and the Iron topic and the "raid ALL the things" as it's called were you insulting the Iron Ambassador earlier this year, and the raiding was the raid shenanigans from mid last year.
But more to the point, I know that much of the stuff you did was in the past, but it seems like every time I hear about you or see you posting, it's either you making an ass of yourself, or ends with you making an ass of yourself.
And history matters in the RIA to some members. Why do you think Delta got re-elected so many times without being active? Because he has a long history with the RIA and despite his inactivity, he knows what he is doing, and when we need him, he would be there.
Everyone wants you to forget their past, but it's your past experiences and interactions which form you as an individual. How can you honestly expect people to think of you as a candidate for something where you would represent the alliance when if we look at your past, you've had horrible interactions with other alliances, and proven to be nearly incompetent when it comes to alliance military matters?
As HOMO you would not only need to have a full in-depth understanding of how wars are fought, but of how to make target lists, how to properly tech-raid, enough knowledge to run the IIDA, and experience and reputation to work with other alliances to co-ordinate military efforts.
Do me a favor, go
Here and look at those who held government positions before you. RIA gov doesnt scream professionalism, but we don't scream inexperience either. Most people that hold positions in RIA gov are knowledgeable about their part of the job and do it to the best of their ability.
If you really want to get to the point where you can get involved in government, your going to need to start showing that you know what your doing. Like, if you plan to tech raid, do it properly, and don't make yourself seem like a moron in embassy's of alliances that you would have to interact with. You have a bit of a history of incompetence that you have to overcome if you want people to take you seriously.
