I have three younger bros that might want to contribute.  I've gots a little shopping list..
  • xbox 360 pro
  • halo 3
  • 3 wired controllers
  • wireless hookups
  • xbox live
That'll be like 450+ totalish.  My questions are a. is it worth it (halo 3 is soooo sick) and b. if I have a Comcast cable cord already connected to another tv, can I connect it to my xbox for live so I can save the 100 buckers?  I will of course have some comcast guy help me set up internets down there..

IS IT ALL WORTH IT??

Lol if its a joke.

If not I recommend Gears of War, Battlefield MC, and some others. The 360 is the best console for people who like "guy" games. IE explosions, cool online and nice sweet graphics.

Honestly? No. I prefer PC gaming myself. Better online support, better graphics, more precise gameplay and better games for shooter and online gamers.

If you have the money and will be playing it...

Then yeah why not? Personally I'm simply not a FPS person so, the consoles clearly not for me. But if you're into that, and graphics, and online play. Then it's totally worth it.

I don't have a 360, but it's worth it.

I'm getting one with my Christmas cash, along with GHII (I'll have GHIII for it already...my roomie has a 360), Halo 1-3, and a few other games.

I think it is worth it. I just don't like those wireless controllers, seems like their is a reaction delay to me. And the controllers also feel weird in my hands (I have special right hand...)
