I remember when kenny was bleeding out his ass about people using internet explorer. then he made it so IE users couldn't get on the forums, singlehandedly forcing me to switch. tbh I still don't give a shit about browsers. quickly, everyone download chromium because kenny likes it, or else you're sheep.
That was more about Moth than it was about IE, to be quite honest.
This is about my disappointment of something I used to recommend to people.
I don't understand Firefox's goals anymore while I feel like the Chromium project is one of many things that is going to lead us to the new web.
Hell, while Firefox is fucking up hardcore with tabs on top, Chromium is experimenting with the idea of tabs on the side.
And guess what their reasoning is? It saves on vertical screen space. It's a logical one I think. Ask any Mac user who has moved their dock to sides of their screens instead of the bottom. The "vertical real estate" is worth more to them than it is horizontally.
But, god honestly, can anyone please explain Firefox 4's UI to me, please? The only thing I can fathom is they think minimalistic is trendy or something.
See, Chromium doesn't do this kind of shit. I see logic and good ideas most of the time.
Ever heard of Google Cloud Print?
http://www.google.com/landing/cloudprint/win-enable.htmlSee, THAT right there is innovation. When was the last time Mozilla did anything like this?
Also, have any of you ever heard of
Chromoting?

No fucking shit.
They want to allow you to connect to another computer from Chrome to Chrome...and use the computer.
They are basically telling RDP and VNC to go fuck themselves.
Did they just blow your mind or what?
